UCI Lawyers Lied in Court

Not only did University of California and its employees commit massive research fraud and fired the whistleblower for uncovering and reporting the fraud, it hired lawyers to put up a sham defense in the whistleblower’s lawsuit against this corrupt university. These lawyers named Karl Lindegren and Chris Alvarez of a law firm called Fisher & Phillips lied in court and even used women’s wombs to advance their false statements and sham defense. Despite knowing that their client committed fraud and fabricated federally funded research, these two lawyers made the following statements in court:

“AND WE’RE TALKING ABOUT SONOGRAMS OF SOMEONE’S WOMB” Read the transcript of the court hearing here.

These lawyers knew that no ultrasound scans were taken to calculate trimesters of pregnant women in the sham study. Instead, the employees of UC named Pathik Wadhwa and Dan Gillen fabricated the trimester values. Despite this, their two lawyers used a woman’s womb to perpetuate their fraud on the court.

This is also despite the fact that Pathik Wadhwa lied under oath in his deposition and stated that three Japanese doctors took the ultrasound scans in the study. That is FALSE because none of those three alleged Japanese doctors named Kaeko Sumiyoshi, Satoru Ikenoue and Masanao Ohashi are authorized to practice medicine in California or the United States.
